Enhancing Forest Management Efficiency with Technology Solutions
The application of science and technology is a pivotal factor in managing and protecting forest resources. At Chu Yang Sin National Park (CYS), challenges such as limited equipment and inconsistent data collection methods have hindered efforts to identify priority patrol areas and hotspots of illegal logging and wildlife poaching.
Recognizing the importance of modern technological applications, a SMART training program was organized to equip staff with practical knowledge and skills. Over two days of intensive training, 35 staff members from ranger stations, patrol teams, and departments of CYS participated in the course under the direct guidance of GreenViet experts.
The program focused on utilizing SMART Mobile and SMART Desktop tools.

With detailed instruction from the experts, participants not only gained theoretical understanding but also engaged in hands-on practice, enabling them to effectively apply these skills in real-world scenarios. The success of the program extends beyond capacity building, positioning Chu Yang Sin National Park as a leading model in integrating technology into forest management.
