The discovery of a Mainland Serow (Capricornis sumatraensis) - signals a severe impact of hunting on Chư Yang Sin National Park.

During our three-month forest patrols, we conducted a survey near Station 6 and came across the carcass of a Mainland Serow in this area. Station 1's forest management area is known for its high biodiversity and rugged terrain. Additionally, we discovered several makeshift camps around the patrol area and identified two suspected trapping sites.

The area where the Mainland Serow was found is relatively flat, surrounded by thick vegetation and steep rocky slopes. Nevertheless, the presence of hunters still persists, exerting pressure on the wildlife in this area.
