Community Conservation Team heading to the patrol area
Amid harsh weather conditions, the Community Conservation Team (CCT) faced numerous challenges to reach patrol areas. Their journey often included navigating through the Krông Nô 2 hydropower reservoir or braving the muddy trails of the under-construction Đông Trường Sơn route. These paths became even more treacherous during heavy upstream rains, forcing the team to adjust patrol plans to ensure safety.

Some days, the team traversed through dense, freezing fog to reach patrol sites. Their unwavering determination and teamwork are testaments to their commitment to forest protection. These efforts also underscore the critical need for better equipment and more adaptable planning to confront future challenges effectively.
