WildAct Founder Dr. Trang Nguyen Honored with Prestigious Tatler Award

Tatler, the renowned magazine celebrating excellence and influence across Asia, has named Dr. Trang Nguyen, founder of WildAct, in its prestigious "Asia's Most Influential 2024" list. This accolade recognizes individuals making profound positive impacts on communities and society, marking a proud milestone in Dr. Trang’s tireless journey to wildlife conservation and community development in Vietnam. 

Since founding WildAct, Dr. Trang and her team have worked relentlessly to raise awareness about wildlife conservation, protect biodiversity, and implement sustainable education programs for local communities, especially ethnic minorities and women. This award not only highlights Dr. Trang's significant contributions but also underscores WildAct's unwavering commitment to safeguarding nature and promoting environmental values in Vietnam and beyond. 

Throughout her career, Dr. Trang Nguyen has spearheaded numerous critical conservation projects. She has infiltrated and dismantled major wildlife trafficking networks, playing a key role in protecting endangered species from extinction. 

Her remarkable contributions have earned her numerous international accolades. At 28, she received the Future for Nature Award and the Eco-Warrior Award from Elle Style Awards in 2018. That same year, she was recognized by Forbes Vietnam as one of the 30 Under 30 and nominated for the Women of the Future Awards in Southeast Asia. In 2019, she was named among the BBC 100 Most Influential Women in the World, and in 2020, she made Forbes Asia's 30 Under 30 list.
