Wrap-up Conference on Migratory Bird Projects in Cồn Đen, Thái Bình

At the end of a successful journey, in the fourth quarter of 2024, WA organized a wrap-up conference on migratory bird projects in the Red River Delta Biosphere Reserve area to report on activities carried out in the three provinces of Ninh Bình, Thái Bình, and Nam Định.

At the conference, nearly 30 participants from intersectoral agencies such as forestry officers, education departments, women's unions, farmers' unions, conservation area managers, national parks, and school principals from the three provinces of Ninh Bình, Thái Bình, and Nam Định attended. In addition to presenting the activities, the conference served as an opportunity to strengthen collaboration among agencies, make proposals for activities suited to the specific conditions of each province, and set solutions and directions for WA’s activities in 2025 in collaboration with the local authorities of these three provinces.

Besides the reports and discussions, the conference also featured an art exhibition with the theme "Migratory Birds and Wetlands," showcasing artwork created by students from the three provinces. These paintings were the results of field trips and school outreach activities organized by WA. With the contributions made during the conference, WA hopes to implement even more successful activities in 2025, focusing on migratory bird conservation as well as the broader conservation of nature and wildlife in these three provinces.
